    Arts Alive
    Kansas City’s premier organization that promotes and organizes social events for those with a passion for the visual and performing arts. The Arts Alive has events showcasing everything from architecture to ballet to film. Provides members with advanced ticket information and special newsletter mailings.

    BacchusKC
    A networking tool for aspiring young people in the community. Integrates and introduces young people in the Kansas City community into new social networks, community organizations and aspiring networking opportunities. Offers special fundraising events and charities for a wide range of groups ranging from the Kansas City Art Institute, Children’s Mercy Hospital and the Rose Brooks Center for Battered Women.

    Central Exchange
    Organization offering leadership development opportunities for women. Education sessions include personal and professional training. A medium to personal, business and other community connections that will provide valuable networking ties.

    Center Stage - Young Professionals of Starlight Theatre
    Membership group of Starlight Theater that makes Broadway shows, concerts and special events at Starlight more accessible for young adults. Provides networking opportunities and a variety of social events throughout the year.

    CCVI 20/20 Club
    The merging of Friends of CCVI and CCVI Young Friends to conduct fundraising activities for the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired school, increases community awareness and provides an opportunity for lasting relationships.

    Social network and seminar series for those passionate about a thriving downtown. Features monthly meetings over lunch or after work in a new downtown venue featuring a public figure, to inform the group of new developments going on in the area. An excellent way to socialize, become informed, and network with fun people in the downtown core.

    Folly Theater Encore Club
    The Folly Theater Encore Club is a group of professionals in the Kansas City area that have a love for the Grand Lady of Twelfth Street, a passion for Kansas City History, and an ear for good Jazz.

    Friends of Powell Gardens
    Gain personal access to the gardens while helping to expand and develop new plants and acreage. Free access year round as well as gardening tips and networking opportunities in a beautiful setting will always be available.

    Friends of the Jubilee 
    Designed to unite people who enjoy and support the Kansas City film industry and its partners. Aspires to host a premier cultural event in the region that will highlight local extraordinary film accomplishments to the outside world while providing a venue for those filmmakers to advance their audience and exposure.

    Friends of MOCSA
    The Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault exists to lessen the ill effects of sexual abuse and assault through prevention, education, intervention, treatment and advocacy. Volunteers can help victims of sexual assault reclaim normalcy in their lives and make the transition from being a victim of sexual abuse to being a survivor.

    Friends of Rose Brooks
    Dedicated to ending domestic violence by providing a place of shelter for abused women who are in a desperate situation. Rose Brooks has completed the Rose Brooks Dream Home complex that provides short and long term housing to abused women and their family. The group is looking for volunteers interested in ending the cycle of violence in abused women’s’ lives.

    Friends of Sunflower House
    Sunflower House works towards preventing and protecting children from domestic and sexual abuse. The Friends of Sunflower House use organized events to gain support and advocacy for abused children, educate the population on the destructive force that is abuse and to assist those with needs who have suffered from abusive situations.

    Gen Listen KC
    KCUR 89.3’s new initiative, Generation Listen KC, connects young public radio listeners in the Kansas City area to the people, places and things that make KC an exciting place to be.

    Hope House Young Professionals
    A group committed to expanding the base of support for Hope House by building relationships and promoting its mission and initiatives throughout the Kansas City metro. Hope House provides comprehensive services encompassing shelter, prevention, education and support for thousands of people traumatized by domestic violence every year.

    The Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City
    Works to strengthen the Jewish community of Kansas City by connecting and educating Jews with their faith and ways to better themselves. Activities include leadership development, fund raising for local charities and community improvement. Offers a monthly newsletter to keep all its subscribers up to date on news and events.

    Kansas City Friends of Alvin Ailey
    KCFAA presents Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Ailey II in annual performances in Kansas City theaters. Develops and delivers youth programming that uses the art of dance as a vehicle to improve knowledge, increase self-esteem, enhance critical thinking skills, and encourage positive role models and smart life choices. Volunteer opportunities include everything from administration assistance to helping coordinate and teach students.

    Kansas City Ski Club
    A group of Midwest ski enthusiasts of all types – singles, couples, families, etc. – that dedicates time to the community and partakes in a lot more than just skiing! Organizes a variety of sporting events from volleyball and softball to tennis and bowling outings. In the community, spends time at Harvesters and Special Olympics events among others.

    Kansas City Young Professionals Networking Society
    A networking society for people both young and young-at-heart in Kansas City. Join for regular Happy Hours and other events where you can come and mingle with other professionals. All events are open to everyone including spouses and friends – the more the merrier!

    KC Sport and Social Club
    This metro wide organization is used primarily by its members to participate in recreational sports for fun and networking. The club offers softball, kickball, dodge ball, sand volleyball, flag football, soccer and men's basketball.

    Comprised of Young Professionals, LiveKC regularly meets to discuss ways to engage Millennials in the community and hosts events for young professionals in Kansas City.

    Ozanam Guild
    A fundraising and volunteering arm of the Ozanam group, which provides therapy and treatment for struggling children and their families. Help to raise funds to support the treatment center and join a meaningful social network.

    The official young professional’s group for the Kansas City Repertory Theatre. If you’re interested in special access to socialize and network with actors and directors, this is the organization that will satisfy you!

    The Urban League of Kansas City
    Founded in 1919 in Kansas City in an effort to create an environment of equality and open opportunity for African Americans by emphasizing the importance of education. Central beliefs for empowerment have grown to include employment, leadership development and race relations.

    United Way Young Leadership Society
    Offers members and volunteers the chance to provide direct assistance to local United Way programs, training programs, networking events with local KC business leaders and other special experiences.

    Young Friends of Art Supported by Nelson-Atkins
    One of the largest organizations in the Kansas City area, renowned for its ability to attract unique people who enjoy the arts. The YFA offers plenty of programs for members to help network, socialize and raise money to support the art scene in Kansas City.

    Young Friends of the Library
    For young professionals in their 20s and up. Mission is to gain support and advocates for the Kansas City Public Library. Also works to raise funds through membership fees and social events, including wine and cheese tasting’s, a literary crawl and additional destination events planned by the group.

    Young Friends of the Symphony
    Works to connect interested professionals with others through events centered on the Symphony. Offers unique events with select member invitations to autograph signings, tours of the opera and special access to the rehearsal sessions of the Kansas City Symphony.

    Young Latino Professionals
    YLP is committed to providing opportunities for young professionals to promote development, networking and civic opportunities throughout the Greater Kansas City area.

    Young Nonprofit Professionals Network
    YNPN activates emerging leaders by connecting them with necessary resources, mentorship and ideas. These young leaders are the core to a diverse and powerful social sector that will support and strengthen their communities.

    Young Professionals Board (YPB) of Legal Aid of Western Missouri
    A group of individuals who support the mission and programs of Legal Aid of Western Missouri through social events, fundraising initiatives and community outreach efforts. Legal Aid is the only organization in western Missouri that provides free, comprehensive civil legal services to low-income people.

    Young Professionals of Kansas City Ballet
    BARRE is a subscription based group for ballet followers, age 21-40 who want to get more involved in the ballet and meet other interesting people with similar interests. Organizes special happy hour events and other networking opportunities, private parties and special ticket prices.
