Within 24 hours of the news, TeamKC: Life+Talent, the KC Area Development Council’s (KCADC) talent attraction and retention initiative, sprang into action opening its KC Career Network (KCCN) to newly displaced talent.

TeamKC, the Kansas City Area Development Council’s talent attraction and retention initiative, is partnering with the Platte County Economic Development Council and KC SmartPort to connect recently displaced talent with area employers in response to Harley-Davidson’s announcement of layoffs at its Kansas City plant.

For nearly a decade, KCADC has worked to attract and retain new talent in Kansas City through our Talent Recruitment Initiative. With a proven track record of success, the initiative focuses on more than recruiting the best talent to Kansas City; it also assists Kansas City employers in selling their companies.
