What is your favorite spot in Kansas City?

MB: My favorite place in Kansas City is at home! We spend a lot of time on the road so any chance I get to have an evening at my house, I try to take full advantage. There are some cool places in the world, but nothing beats the comforts of home.

Where's your favorite place outside of Kansas City?

MB: My favorite place outside the city is the Overland Park Arboretum. I grew up around the area, so going back for an afternoon brings me back to my days as an adventurous kid.

What's your most treasured possession?

MB: My most treasured personal possession is my wedding ring. A distant second is my truck. I've always wanted to drive a truck, but never had the opportunity until a year ago. I'm definitely glad I made the decision to finally buy one.

Who's your favorite fictional hero?

MB: My favorite fictional hero is Coach Eric Taylor from NBC's Friday Night Lights television series. It's one of my favorite shows and he seems like he always makes the right decision. Simply put, he's the man.

Who do you most admire in real-life?

MB: I most admire my wife, Amanda. She is hard working, honest, and competitive. Most importantly, she is the most compassionate person I know.

When and where are you happiest?

MB: I'm happiest when I get to spend the evening outside on my back deck. I like to start a fire, put my feet up, and watch the sun go down.
