Johnson County Airport Commission

The Johnson County Airport Commission oversees the Johnson County Executive Airport and New Century AirCenter. These two air transportation facilities serve the aviation needs of the region, which contributes to Johnson County’s economic vitality and quality of life.

Johnson County Executive Airport
Located at 151st Street and Pflumm Road, between the cities of Olathe and Overland Park, Kansas, the Johnson County Executive Airport is in the heart of Johnson County's economic belt and is the choice for many corporate, business and general aviation users. With over 40,000 annual operations and approximately 210 based aircraft, the Johnson County Executive Airport is the fourth busiest towered airport in the state of Kansas.

New Century AirCenter
A true multi-modal center with the right combination of location and facilities, New Century AirCenter is a 2,700-acre business park located approximately 30 minutes from downtown Kansas City along Interstate 35 in Southwest Johnson County, Kansas.

The diverse tenant mix includes manufacturing, warehouse, distribution and regional office headquarters for several Fortune 500 companies.

New Century is served by a 1,000-acre active business aviation airport with three full-service Fixed Base Operators (FBOs) and is one of the largest airports in the state of Kansas.

It is also adjacent to the BNSF Railway mainline, minutes away from BNSF’s newest Intermodal Facility, and offers advanced infrastructure for manufacturing and industrial sites
