He has spearheaded major growth initiatives for the KC region in the life sciences -- creating the Kansas City Area Life Sciences Institute -- as well as transportation and logistics -- founding KC SmartPort. Bob leads a team of 17 development professionals who represent 50 major cities in 18 counties that comprise the KC metro (MO/KS) of 2 million residents. Bob has led the attraction of companies such as Transamerica Life (HQ), EDS, Harley-Davidson, Honeywell, Kansas Speedway, and Quintiles to KC.

Tim leads KCADC's prospect attraction efforts for the KC area, which is one of the country's largest metro footprints for development. With 20 years in economic development, Tim brings solid skills to the development process from his private sector experience in real estate and business management. He also has a strong understanding of manufacturing, distribution operations and headquarters attraction. Tim has provided location consulting assistance and leadership to companies such as FedEx Ground, Wal-Mart, Farmer's Insurance, Akzo Nobel, Intel, and Newport Television.

Jill has 18 years of experience in economic development—specializing in regional business recruitment efforts for KCADC across multiple disciplines. Jill has worked comprehensively in assisting customer/shared service centers, manufacturing, distribution, data centers and alternative energy projects. Jill works with companies and consultants considering a KC metro location through extensive briefings, site visits and outreach. Jill has led many successful deals providing a breadth of expansion and relocation expertise to major corporations such as Dow Kokam, T-Mobile USA, Prescription Solutions, Perceptive Software, MasterCard International, 1&1 Internet and U.S. Bank to the metro's urban, suburban and rural areas.

Lynn is the "go-to" person on life sciences and technology company recruitment at KCADC. With the presence of one third of the global animal health market in the KC region, Lynn helped launch the KC Animal Health Corridor in 2006. The KC area has quickly emerged as the destination for animal health companies. In the course of 12 years, Lynn has spearheaded efforts to attract and expand life science companies as Synbiotics, MWI Veterinary Supply, OncImmune, IdentiGEN, U.S. Animal Health Association, and IMULAN Bio Therapeutics in addition to companies such as Sara Lee Corporation, Johnson Controls and Berry Plastics.

Chris is the President of KC SmartPort, Inc., a KCADC affiliate organization. KC SmartPort is the primary advocate facilitating the growth of the transportation and logistics industry. It focuses on the attraction of freight-based companies to the KC region in partnership with KCADC. Chris has been active in economic development and logistics for over 20 years and has experience in the transportation industry, including alternative energy transportation. Chris has been active with international trade and foreign investment attraction. Recent successes include Smith Electric Vehicles, Musician's Friend, Pac Sun, Pure Fishing, and Coleman.
