Malt-O-Meal Co. locates distribution center to KC

Malt-O-Meal Co. will open a 151,200-square-foot distribution center in Kansas City, Missouri for its dry cereals. The Minneapolis-based company will employ approximately 25 workers when it begins operating in March.

An increased demand for value-brand cereal drove the company to open a new distribution center. The KC market won this investment due to its access to the company’s customer base. This facility is the fifth distribution center for Malt-O-Meal.
