Big box distribution center chooses KC
The Coleman Company, Inc. will locate a 1.1-million-square-foot distribution center in Gardner, Kan. The decision will result in more than $43 million in investment and 170 jobs for the region.
Coleman expects to begin operations in the new building by the fourth quarter of 2009. Located at the Midwest Commerce Center, the company selected this location for its close proximity to good transportation infrastructure. This announcement further confirms Kansas City's established position as a major national warehousing and distribution center.
