Block Real Estate Services, LLC

On July 7, 2009, three principals of Block & Company, Inc., Realtors, brothers Kenneth Block, SIOR, CCIM, Stephen Block and Michael Block, CPM, separated from Block & Company, Inc. Realtors to form Block Real Estate Services, LLC.

Since Allen Block started Block & Company in 1940, the company evolved into one of the Midwest's leading, full-service real estate organizations, ranked as the largest commercial real estate company in the Kansas City area by the Business Journal for the past four years. Upholding that tradition, we have not changed our focus. Block Real Estate Services will continue to offer the highest level of leadership, commitment, integrity and advice. Even nearly 70 years after Allen Block started the firm, these things won't change.

We provide investment property management services to hundreds of investment groups with interest in over 17 million square feet of improved real estate. Our Property Management program is thorough and effective in verifying that the operations of a property run smoothly and within budget. Property owners are provided sophisticated and highly detailed monthly operating statements for each property, using all of the latest reporting software. As a result, we can quickly provide our owners with any combination of information, financial studies and reports necessary to keep them fully informed on all aspects of their property's economic performance.

Block Funds: Block Funds is a fund sponsor specializing in the creation of wealth for our individual and institutional partners through sound real estate investment management. By targeting institutional-grade assets with strong returns, we deliver optimal cash flows, favorable financing terms and solid appreciation to our clients. Block Funds I though III have raised a combined $50 million of equity, which has been leveraged to acquire more than $182 million of quality commercial investment assets. Block Fund IV is currently raising equity in order to take advantage of the outstanding buying opportunities present in today's market.
