The Central Exchange

The Central Exchange is a 29-year old organization with almost 1,000 members and has as its mission advancing women as leaders. They offer their members almost daily programs over the breakfast and noon hour on the topics of professional, personal, and leadership development. The Central Exchange also offers leadership development programs for members of the general public, including an annual one-day women's leadership conference, The Central Exchange Women's Lyceum, and an intensive, one-year leadership development program for Emerging Leaders that is presented by Right Management. Every two years they publish an Executive Women's Leadership Census detailing the number of women on the boards of directors, among the executive officers and highest paid at the larger public corporations in our two-state region.

The Central Exchange is a 1,000-member organization that develops women as leaders through professional and leadership development programs and by providing them with valuable connections. We champion women's leadership through advocacy for gender diversity in executive suites and on boards of directors of area companies.

At our two facilities in the metropolitan area, downtown and southern Johnson County, we present programs over the noon hour or at breakfast almost daily. The Central Exchange is the premier organization in Kansas City for women to enhance their leadership potential, increase their social capital and to grow as individuals.
