KBS Constructors Gives Critical Gift to Victory Junction Midwest

In celebration of its 20th year in business, KBS Constructors chose to mark this special milestone with a gift to the community they’ve served.  In 2009, NASCAR legend Kyle Petty announced that KBS Constructors would donate the most critical building at camp, the Body Shop medical facility.

Kyle and his wife Pattie founded Victory Junction, a camp for children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses in Randleman, North Carolina in 2000. In just five years of operation, the camp had become so successful they have exceeded capacity. As a result they have decided to build a second camp, centrally located in Kansas City.

The camp’s first building project, the Body Shop, is its most critical. Just as critical is the support of donors and volunteers that make it possible for the camp to fulfill its mission. KBS Constructors, Inc. has partnered with Victory Junction pledging to provide this structure, a critical medical facility for Victory Junction Midwest, free of charge.

The project is a perfect fit for KBS based on their years of experience working in highly sensitive environments. Over the last two decades, KBS has developed a specialty in building and renovating structures with highly technical requirements. This specialty, and the approach to building that has followed, is something KBS calls Critical Environment Construction.

With the Body Shop on the horizon, they continue to seek fellow companies with giving hearts to join them as partners in making the Body Shop a testament to what can happen when you have the courage to give.
