Allen Foods Announces New Topeka Manufacturing Facility
Allen Foods will build a new $30 million state-of-the-art commercial manufacturing facility in Topeka, Kan., creating more than 50 new jobs.
The new facility will be built on a 20-acre site in the Central Crossing Commerce Park in south Topeka, and will focus on providing fresh, high quality bread products for the local market.
The KC region competed with several Midwestern states, and was selected due to the commitment, work ethic and skill set of the local workforce. The company expects to begin construction in the coming weeks and plans to have baked goods from the new facility in the market within 12 months.
